The Process, How It All Works.

If you’re interested in a mural, just contact us to set up an appointment to come see the interior room or exterior wall. If you have any reference material (photos, books, magazines, etc) with the kind of images or design you want, great, have them handy. If you have a clear image you just want reproduced, we can usually give you an estimate on the spot. If you’re interestd in proceeding, we will fax or mail you a written proposal which includes all the details, including price, deposit requirements, time estimated to complete the project, and any specific details that apply.

Mural Prices can vary considerably, depending on many factors… interior, exterior, residential, commercial, all bring various factors and circumstances to consider. Generally, prices will vary between $15-$60 per square foot.

Here are a few general variables…

The design and size of the mural is naturally a huge factor, including our time spent researching reference material (like historical photos), and creating a to-scale full-color painting. If a client has good, clear reference material, or has a solid design concept in mind, that can reduce the cost. Intricate detail and complexity add to costs.

We need to consider the location, condition of the wall, ease or difficulty of access- remember we have to have available or haul (each work day): water, power, our paints and supplies, including tables, ladders, trash containers, etc. The height of the wall matters; The cost will be higher if we have to rent scaffolding or a boom lift. etc...

If you’re interested in a portrait or painting, you can email us a good quality jpeg image, and include your name & phone number so we can have a phone consultation. This works especially well for out-of-town clients. Or we will be happy to meet with you in person if you prefer. Generally, portraits start at $800. The more subjects in the portrait, the more it costs.

Funding... This applies mostly to non-profit organizations, schools, churches, etc. but it can apply to some individuals; If you don’t have the money… there’s still hope! We will do everything possible to work with your budget. There are also many ways to raise funds or get sponsorships.
